Amanda Johansen is currently the Graduate Assistant Coach for the Mount St. Mary's University Women's Lacrosse Team. The 2013 Rookie of the year in USC's inaugural season, she was named team captain her final two years with the Trojans and helped lead the squad to NCAA Tournament appearances in 2015 and 2016 to go along with an undefeated regular season showing in 2016. The Glen Head, N.Y. native, who tallied 194 points on 134 goals and 60 assists in her four-year career as a midfielder, was drafted by the Baltimore Ride in the inaugural draft of the United Women's Lacrosse League this past summer, and was recently named to the squad again for 2017. Johansen earned All-American honors following her senior year with USC, and was named to the MPSF All-Conference First Team every season of her career in addition to earning IWLCA All-Region honors four times. Johansen graduated from USC in 2016 as a Mark's Scholar, with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in sports media studies.
